Just The Sizzle founder Christine Matheson was a former professional chef in Brisbane, Melbourne and Hobart. She was owner & chef of 10 restaurants across Brisbane and Queensland’s coast, including her iconic Possum’s Australian Food in New Farm and the Tiger Garden Restaurant in the Singapore Pavilion at Expo 88.
Her restaurants have been covered by food writers in Australia and abroad including San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Detroit. No small feat!
Her other work as an editor, journalist and author pushed her to set up Just the Sizzle, to help and support the industry she loves and to cater to an ever-growing audience of foodies spanning the globe.
Christine has been a regular judge at the Royal Hobart Show Fine Food Awards, and is currently working on her 3rd book about her incredible times in the food industry.
