Description

Why Theatre Of War?

Running a restaurant is truly a business of battle.

If you are curious about the drama that explodes in the confines of kitchens (and often spilled messily into diners) while all may seem quiet ‘out front’, enjoy a little schadenfreude in reading about the trials and despair that came with Chrissie’s risking the farm in order to have a go.

10 restaurants and 2 cooking schools later, the stories leap from the page. Laugh out loud funny, she tells it like it is.

Theatre of War takes you behind the pass, into the battles, where the heat in the kitchen sometimes explodes. She fed Brisbane from celebrities down to crime lords, it was the Fitzgerald enquiry on the street and it was a risky, busy life.

It’s a wild ride. So buckle up with a bottle of something smooth, sit back and enjoy!
